I personally really love sprite animations. It has that retro feel to it, as if I'm watching pixelated cutscenes from games made for Gameboy and such. I'm bummed out about the whole no sound part (Your apology is accepted, and getting a sneak peek like this is fantastic, but it still carry some weight here and there. Sorry!), but the animation and background is pretty good. Keep that up! Except, for the no sound thing... Do add that (Even if it says that you'll add it in the future, I still gotta mention these things, because that's what reviews are.)

It's an alright animation, it feels really smooth and all, and you can't complain about the background and the cool twist in the end either. But, the slimes are very pixelated around the edges. If you want an animation based of slimes and such, you need to make sure their looks have smooth outlines. This also goes for other things, for they also have the same pixelated lines to form them. Do take a look into that issue.

It isn't too bad. I like the colours you've put up with to make this animation, and the art you've created for your original character is the classic way of drawing anthropomorphic animals. It's simple, and efficient, which are the two golden rules of drawing something anthropomorphic.

However, I seem to miss a lot of animation in this one, besides your character sliding to the left every moment, while looking fabulous. Some parts are just stitched up pictures too, especially the beginning. Background could also use a bit of work. The end part doesn't really work too well on Newgrounds, however. But, you did alright. I'll keep an eye out on you, because you might be doing things quite well here.

It's something I can't complain about. It's nicely done, good colors, beautiful graphics, and it's just the kind of humor you'd ned in Newgrounds. The animation is also great, because you just gotta look at that finger poking that one guy, and you'll immediately say: "GREAT SCOTT! WHY IS THIS GUY NOT FAMOUS YET?" Eh, I don't know. I just, um... Hate the thumbnail. A bit.

STOOVRS responds:

thanks i made the thumbnail after studying everything that was wrong with youtube
okay fine i'll fix it
alright i fixed it maybe i don't know
it's just a screenshot but i kinda like it maybe

I can't really say anything bad about the animation. It's good, and pretty smooth. Shadows are also pretty well done. But, I still see little effort done in this animation. We're all getting a bit tired of the basic white background everyone's using. It's just too simplistic, and boring to look at. Please, add maybe a bit more background, and show that you made a much bigger effort on this one. Also, ambiance. Mmmm... Sweet sweet ambiance.

I don't really give a single damn if this is propaganda on the 50th president America has to be ruled by, all that matters here is the animation. Good quality, smooth, lovable, nicely done. It's got great effects, good lighting, Smooth animation, and it's really nice to look at. Beautifully done.

Good man, Robert Poller! Another series that I can fluctuate upon and binge watch during the weekends! HUZZAH!

I cannot quite complain about the artstyle, because you did it very well that I can personally say that it is fit as your own way of drawing things, like everyone else. THERE IS NO ARTISTIC METHOD OF DRAWING! Everyone goes wild in their own way.

Animation is also pretty well done. Special Effects, incredible. Those candles? What else is there to say? It's spot on! and, I wonder if anyone notices the hair at around 0:19 and 0:21? It's the little effects like this that can blow a very stern critic away. Also, demons pretty hard to draw, and most mythological demons have human form to it. I like how you nailed the wings and how smooth it was animated. Music is also FREAKING EPIC! It's a way to get a classical music into this generation. Clappedy clap clap!

For the first time, I'm going to ignore the title at the end of the video, missing a letter. I know there's an A in there somewhere, but we just can't see it, haha (bad joke). I have high hopes for this series. Good luck!

I find it pretty odd, except for the artstyle. If you look to it a bit more clearly, some parts feel more like animation gifs that was pasted in there. Also, that long intro with all the credits is best suggested to leave in the last few seconds of the animation. This might already bore the audience that are viewing the animation. So, let me recap: Good artstyle, a few parts are like animation gifs that loop about, and the long intro kind of deters people. Still, decently done.

Thank you for the feedback! :)
As it is probably one of my first more finalized animation works, as generally I don't do much animation, I did use repeated frames quite a bit.
I didn't choose my music before doing the animation and had trouble shortening it down, so i had a bunch of space at the start with no animation, which is why i chose to make it how i did. But i realize now some ways I could have fixed or gone about this better. I do agree with you now that I think about it that it's probably better to have at the end.

Thanks!

You're doing a great job, friend. Your animation is going mighty well, it's fast-paced (Exactly how a Madness animation is supposed to be), and the sound effects are also pretty alright. However, around 0:10, when it's scrolling up the stairs, the guard appears to be very static, and in a few milliseconds, he seemed to finally get an animation. I know this is a little bit too much for you as of now, but perhaps for future events, try to keep everything animated, even guards that are off-screen. Also, you could have added a bit more idle animations to the guards that were in the second room. Or, perhaps, they're trying to prepare a bit more for their upcoming opponent, which is this animations protagonist. Lastly, think of perhaps more effects for the magic that the protagonist is using. Maybe, make his hand glow a bit, or add additional magical particles. But, still, you did an amazing job!

(Hope to see you on this year's Madness Day! I foresee another great celebration with people like you around!)

MadnessWolf responds:

Yeah,i'm making animation for MD. Thx for ur comment!

Incredibly well made, and it feels so soft! The art... Ooooh, the glorious art! When I grow up, I want to draw things like you guys. But, anyway, it's extraordinary, smooth animation, sounds and music are very catchy. Great work on this one! Can't wait for the next episode!

Nothing much about me, just your regular game playing person. "We're all shooting stars. We fall down at some point, and when you make a wish, it comes true. We also shine extraordinarily bright, especially to our strengths." - Lathryn,
