It surely looks like an interesting intro, however, I wouldn't say that it's the best one either. Nowadays, intros are quite simple and colorful, instead of epic or badass. But, I'm not saying that your intro is uninteresting or anything, it's just not as unique or cool as most intros. But, making this in after effects are surely well done, which gives people a high expectancy. But, I don't really like how you filled the L and the G. The color is too basic and less complex, and it does cover the inner fire. My recommendation is, that it's better to not use any fire effects, and perhaps fill the whole LG with one slightly bright orange color. It looks a bit more fancier that way, and has a simple aspect towards it.

I like the colors and backgrounds, but the voice acting is a minus for me. It feels and sounds like it's being talked through a loudspeaker. Even the music isn't actually very fitting as well. It's not the best that I've seen, but I respect your artstyle.

Sound mixing is not my Forte and i probably should delegate that to somebody who has talent in that department if i have the option,
so its probably more my fault than it is the voice actor, but honestly i dont know what music to use in this!

if i do a collab to get the whole(or as much as possible) story done in a mini series.
right now im just seeing if anybody is interested in doing that or not

Although it doesn't show many colors in animation, if you catch my drift, it does have express feelings to people. To my opinion, it doesn't really matter if your straight, or gay, or transgender, or whatever. In the end, we're all humans, and we have the right to believe, or do as we wish. If we don't feel comfortable being a boy, you can feel free to be a girl. You have proven a good point. If only spreading this word was a lot easier, then this world will understand that being different is absolutely fine in just a few years.

LittleMincedLady responds:

Thank you very much for your encouraging feedback! :) I am glad I could bring this point across with a very simple animation like this. I agree with you!

It has a good concept to it, and based around the run loop of the main character, animating the characters is going to be fairly limited. Character design is also pretty damn sweet. Ever watched Archer? It reminded me of that style. But, I suggest adding a bit of work on the voice-acting. The voices aren't exactly the best, unless you are not willing to use voice-acting. But, other than that, I can tell this will be a good visual novel. And I've played good visual novels before.

LeonDaydreamer responds:

Thanks Lathryn!
Yeah, people have told me it feels Archer-like. I couldn't really tell you it's like this or like that, my main influences were anime for a long time, but I went through a traditional fine arts program, and this is what my art style is now. :P

Check out the game (on Itch.io), let me know what you think of the voices. We are working with up and coming voice actors, it's not like I have a studio people can come into and record. So, this is about as good as we can get the voices to be at this point.

And yeah, it's all true about the run cycle. That's why he just runs. I could probably get him to blink too, but making him speak is pushing it. :P

This has some really good execution to it. It's very likable, but I'm having some issues with the alpha with the stickmen. You can clearly see that Jae's limbs are all covering up the body and such at around 1:31. Try to resist changing the alpha/opacity of the character for certain frame transitions.

Great job on this one. I don't know anything about music, or how to create my own (because I never had talent in that field. If you have the time, I would love to learn a bit on how to do it), but I'm going to review this as best I can anyway. PREPARE FOR A MAN SHOUTING NONSENSE!

I like the consistent beat you put up in the beginning, and how you build it up in the same tempo. It has that nice whimsical feel to it. It's probably just me. But, also... We do have a music channel, sort off, where you can show your prowess in your audio. Maybe you can... Export it as a mp3 file, if possible. It's already unusual to see music being played in the movie section, but, oh well, whichever way goes, I suppose :)

It's an alright cover video for Linkin Park. It's got some nice looks to it, albeit it being that some colors aren't the best, and that fire animation is beautiful. But, I don't like the rest of the animation. It's pretty clunky, and it has that feel that it lags. But, overall, it's got that humble feel to it. It could just be me, but hey, it's my review, I get to spout the truth on how I roll with things! But, yeah. It's nice in it's own way, but it's not entirely quality, because of the slightly sluggish animation. Except for that fire in around 1:02. That's some spiffy animation.

Thank You. I really appreciate the feedback. If you look at the first version of this trailer you can see the difference for the initial vic walking towards john. I also improved the tail light trails for bike scenes and made the ending scene scrolling backgrounds smoother and figured out how to endlessly loop nested animation. I am learning... albeit slowly. Perhaps if I dialed the Framerate up from 25 to 30 it would be smoother overall? The only thing I can think to improve the animation is drawing more frames, but that requires a great deal more time. I actually wasn't planning on releasing this just yet, but since I found out yesterday that Chester died. I needed to do something to deal with the frustration I feel inside at having learnt of this tragedy. That aside Thank you Lathryn for taking the time to let me know your thoughts on this which is my passion and my pursuit.

Ahh, this brings so much joy to my full belly (I went to Macdonalds just before watching this). I remember when I was a grasshopper in the dojo. Seeing an animation coming straight out of that place and going abroad into the dark and awesome realm of Newgrounds makes me smile brighter. I ran away from there because of the unbearable downtime. Is it still like that? Even when it's just a little down? I'll come back someday. Maybe to greet everyone again, with my unpopularity :)

Also, great collab! I love it how it syncs with the music. Send some more of your pals from the dojo to this humble place, right? Because awesome stuff like this needs to go around the globe!

You can't go wrong with this collab. This was absolutely marvelous, with it's name being all about gore, and we received blood. Beauty first, baby!!

Spaderz responds:

Love you~ <3

These were amazing clips that showed how much you improved since your first Madness Day. The earlier clips of 2016 are pretty clumsy, and very slow. Then, in 2017, you improved massively, and showed a lot of skill. The last few clips got my attention most of all. It showed true agility of a cold-blooded Madness Combatant, and the way he killed his opponents is phenomenal. Well done. Keep this up, and you might even rival Krinkles' abilities. Trust me, people did become as good as Krinkles with animating as well as he did, and you'll reach that level, I'm sure of it. Happy Madness Day!

Oh, and you got yourself a new fan. Keep tossing those vids at me, buddy! :)
I don't use emojies often. If you see me use one, ya done good, and ya didn't goof. Good show!

SampleT3xt responds:

Thank u so much :3

Nothing much about me, just your regular game playing person. "We're all shooting stars. We fall down at some point, and when you make a wish, it comes true. We also shine extraordinarily bright, especially to our strengths." - Lathryn,
