It's always amazing to see how much people have improved over the years. To be honest, all of these clips, especially the one from 2011, were pretty much perfect for that time. Good work, man!

Thank you so much <3 That's so nice of you. I'm glad you like it :)
Pure genius. I love how you made all of this. Space or night-sky themed drawings are the toughest jobs that artists have faced, and you nailed this one. However, to my honest opinion... You may have overdone the blending and the blur tool a slight tad. It looks a lot like everything is consumed by a big gas cloud. But, still, seriously well done! I want to be like you when I grow up! :)
Great job, you made me use the :) smiley. That's already a big achievement, because you made me happy with what you did.
Apologies this is so late! >^<
Thank you, and now that I think about it maybe I kinda did. XD
Anyways thank you! :D
Pretty useful tutorial. I'll be sure to make use of this when I'm drawing some macabre-themed stuff :)
cooool!!!! :D
It has that pretty impressive display to it. The sounds, and background music, along with the parchment-like paper background. But, the voice isn't exactly the best, unfortunately. It's something with the mic a bit. It gives out that echo-ish feeling. But, other than that, I am completely looking forward to this animation.
Very well done, and interesting too. It has a very whimsical and educational side to it, which pleases me, because everyone's a sucker for cute things. You gave me quite the scare, though, in the beginning. The voice appeared all so suddenly, without even a proper introduction. But, that's not quite necessary.
Good animation, and a good voice are then things I love here. In fact, I don't see anything wrong with this one. Great work! Keep this up.
<3 thank you! :) The animation was part of a video game with broken up clips. The intro is another file...on the way! :)
It's an alright bit of animation, but what bums me out is that the music overlaps when you press play one more time. Time to get your sound-kit and see what you can do about that :\
I'm not good with soundtracks is the problem.
Edit: I left in a reference if you can find it ;)
It's got some really good art, and I like the background to it. It feels so sleek, that I think I'm in heaven. One thing, though. The character up front isn't that much for animation. It's all just head bobbing and the rest of the body is looking a bit static, meaning that it doesn't move much. And, I have my doubts that anyone would like to watch a minute long clip where nothing happens. But, that doesn't mean you made the character look bad, for the designs you put up to make it was really nice. The shading catches my eye. Overall, you did it well.
That's very helpful feedback. It will be one of a few backgrounds to stream music to so I didn't want it to be too distracting. Might take this character a bit further though. Thanks again!
I like the colors and backgrounds, but the voice acting is a minus for me. It feels and sounds like it's being talked through a loudspeaker. Even the music isn't actually very fitting as well. It's not the best that I've seen, but I respect your artstyle.
Sound mixing is not my Forte and i probably should delegate that to somebody who has talent in that department if i have the option,
so its probably more my fault than it is the voice actor, but honestly i dont know what music to use in this!
if i do a collab to get the whole(or as much as possible) story done in a mini series.
right now im just seeing if anybody is interested in doing that or not
Although it doesn't show many colors in animation, if you catch my drift, it does have express feelings to people. To my opinion, it doesn't really matter if your straight, or gay, or transgender, or whatever. In the end, we're all humans, and we have the right to believe, or do as we wish. If we don't feel comfortable being a boy, you can feel free to be a girl. You have proven a good point. If only spreading this word was a lot easier, then this world will understand that being different is absolutely fine in just a few years.
Thank you very much for your encouraging feedback! :) I am glad I could bring this point across with a very simple animation like this. I agree with you!
It has a good concept to it, and based around the run loop of the main character, animating the characters is going to be fairly limited. Character design is also pretty damn sweet. Ever watched Archer? It reminded me of that style. But, I suggest adding a bit of work on the voice-acting. The voices aren't exactly the best, unless you are not willing to use voice-acting. But, other than that, I can tell this will be a good visual novel. And I've played good visual novels before.
Thanks Lathryn!
Yeah, people have told me it feels Archer-like. I couldn't really tell you it's like this or like that, my main influences were anime for a long time, but I went through a traditional fine arts program, and this is what my art style is now. :P
Check out the game (on Itch.io), let me know what you think of the voices. We are working with up and coming voice actors, it's not like I have a studio people can come into and record. So, this is about as good as we can get the voices to be at this point.
And yeah, it's all true about the run cycle. That's why he just runs. I could probably get him to blink too, but making him speak is pushing it. :P
